I feel horrible for not updating, but life got away and I got disinterested. I was so involved with the company I was working for that I lost my love for fashion, but recently I switched jobs again (which is a very good thing) and with it came a renewal and of course I lost about 25 lbs :O. Not even lying I started at around 195 and now I'm around 165 give or a take a pound or a day of bloating ;) you know how it goes. I feel great I look better and my clothes fit way better, but until I reach my goal weight all my clothes will be from Target or Forever21 because at least if I lose weight and can't fit into them I wont have wasted the money on something I love.
Now that that little speech is over here are a couple of pieces I can not wait to buy. They may seem plain to you, but they are so much better than the naked eye can see. Why? Answer below the fold.

Tee Available at ShopBop
Tee Available at Saks 5th Avenue
So the reason is not because these are over priced tees because they really aren't. The 1st tee is by James Perse and is made of Cupra a fabric which drapes just like silk and is super soft and lasts way longer than those 100% cotton tees you can get at Old Navy. The 2nd one is Alexander Wang and is a mix of Silk and Rayon. So as you can tell I'm a textile freak I will analyze the materials before buying and I so can't wait to invest in tees like these. I have a couple of tees made out of modal, which is another great fabric that holds color amazingly well and feels way soft and comes in around mid price point. (yeah I know that's a lot). Anyway the Modal tees I've had for over a year and they still look like I've had them for only a month. Now can you blame me? Quality over quantity is what I say and in this case I so want the quality.
What would you do buy 20 cotton tees and replace them in a month or buy 2 awesome tees and have them a year later? After all tees never go out of style and you can dress them up or down.
